Dreamlights Pillow Pets

The dreamlights pillow pets are becoming a popular toy for boys as well as girls. These cute pillow pets dream lites are very soft but cannot be slept on because of the hard top that projects the lights onto the ceiling or wall. These cute pillows are great for comforting a child afraid of the dark and also great for kids just wanting a night light at night for comfort until they go to sleep. The pillow pet shuts down on its own so you do not have to worry about it running all night or you having to get back up to turn it off when your child is asleep.

These pillow pets would also be great for vacation especially when traveling at night. They have many dreamlights pillow pets to choose from like the unicorn, ladybug, penguin, and dog to name a few. I am sure they will be adding more because this are becoming more and more popular. These pillows would make excellent Christmas or birthday gift ideas if you do not know what to get a child.

Dream Lites Pillow Pet

The dream lites pillow pet is a cute pet that I am sure your child will love. Each pillow pet has a light on top that project a starry display on the ceiling with the emblem of that specific pet also projected on the ceiling with the stars. These pets could be used as nightlights for a child who is afraid of the dark or who just wants some light for comfort.

After twenty minutes the dream lights pillow pet shuts off automatically so you do not have to worry about the batteries running down fast. The animals are soft and cuddly and come in a different variety of pets like the unicorn, ladybug, dog, turtle, panda, giraffe, and butterfly.  Your child will love playing with her pillow pet every night.

Jurassic Park Builder on the Ipod/Ipad/Iphone review

This is probably the best free Farmville style game I have played on the IPod since I bought it.  The game is awesome because it gives you the satisfaction of managing your little dino park without the annoyances typical of a game like this.  By this I mean:

Jurassic Park Builder doesn't require you to pay real money to progress through the game.  I am currently level 10 and I have only had to use the in game real currency to purchase one item, but they have given more than enough of this currency to allow for the purchase of this item with a lot left over.

Jurassic Park Builder doesn't have advertisements!  Actually they do have one little non-intrusive ad when you open up the purchasing menu but to this day I have received no pop ups, and no other ads than the small almost unnoticeable ones when you decide to upgrade your park

Jurassic Park Builder is fun!  It allows you to build your own park and manage the dinosaurs in a non-stressful way.  It can be entertaining to watch your dinosaurs move around in their little confined areas.

Best of all, its free!  As mentioned before, there is very little pressure to spend real money in the game, and for those that are interested in the few (I have seen only 2 so far) dinosaurs that you have to pay real money for the opportunity exits.

Finally, for this type of game I would love to see an option to watch movies or click on ads to earn more of the in game currency.  The game is quality enough to warrant this.  What did annoy me about "Jaw's Revenge" was the constant pop up ads and pop ups encouraging me to watch a movie to get little or no reward to spend currency on updates that didn't really change game play at all.

So my final recommendation is to get this game!  It’s free, it’s fun, and the annoyances with most freemium games are almost non-existent.  If I were to change some aspects of the game I would make the loading sequence more streamlined (they show the publishers EVERY time) and I would make the little tour cars have an actual in game effect.  As it stands now, I see no reason to construct a pretty park where all of the dinosaurs are visible by the cars because I see no benefit to this, and it actually takes up valuable real estate to allow roads through your park.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any comments or recommendations about this game in the comments below!

Does Garnier shampoo cause hair loss?

About 5 years ago I started using the Garnier Fructis hair shampoo after finding that it was the best available shampoo while I was living in Europe.  However, after returning to the United States, I kept on using the shampoo and after about 1 year I noticed that my hairline was receding!  I was about 21 years old at the time and I could not think of any other changes that happened in my life that could possibly be causing this receding hairline.  While balding does occur in my family, it typically occurs much later in life usually around the age of 50 to 60.  For me however, I was seeing definite changes in my hair line at the age of 21!  This caused me to panic and I started thinking about ways I could delay or prevent more hair loss from occurring.

After realizing that it was potentially the shampoo I was using I switched to Herbal essences and noticed that the receding has stopped.  It has been 5 years since I quit using Garnier Fructis hair shampoo and the receding hairline has maintained its position rather than gotten worse.  Another thing that shocked me about this shampoo is that my Dad started using it shortly after I came back to the United States because I had recommend it to him.  Granted, he is much older than I am (over 60) but he also complained of increased hairloss after using the shampoo.  He was already starting to lose his hair, but after switching shampoos he experienced increased rates of hair loss.  Also, after he quit using the shampoo, he noticed that his rate of hair loss had slowed down.

Now I cannot be confident that it is the shampoo itself causing the hair loss, but both myself and my father experienced increasing rates of hair loss after using Garnier Fructis consistently.  Probably the strongest indicator for me was that the hair loss stopped after I switched to Herbal Essences shampoo.  I'm curious if anyone else has experienced hair loss after using Garnier Fructis, or maybe it was just a coincidence.  Let me know your story in the comments below.

Good book for relationships with Thai girls

I have only purchased one book to learn about the idiosyncrasies about relationships with Thai women, but it was the perfect book.  It goes through the common miscommunications including relationships, money, sex, marriage, family, trust, and even living in Thailand together.

The book is great because it contains both English AND Thai on opposite pages and presents the materials in a very light hearted way funny pictures.  The book begins by talking about the "honey-moon" period associated with the relationship, including how happy both of you are with your new beau.  However, soon cultural differences create frustrations.  For you, its wondering why she asks for money all of the time, or talks with so many people including both guys and girls.  She also may go out all of the time and be very vague about her actions.

While she wonders why you were so sweet in the beginning of the relationship, and have lately become more quick-tempered.  "Why did he change so much" she thinks...

This book goes over all of these topics and discusses potential solutions and recourses to keep the relationship positive.  I have personally bought this book and used it to solidify my relstionship with my Thai wife.  The book was so good that I loaned it to a friend and it was never returned!  Granted I have a great wife, who thinks like a Western woman (for better or worse), but this book was a great help for those certain frustrating situations when I didn't really understand why she was acting the way she did.

She even read the book to understand me better, to learn why I was so kee-neow (stingy) among other things.
